We know there are many people out there working hard to promote road safety in Devon & Cornwall. Quite often these are volunteers, residents or community groups – as well as emergency service teams, council workers, young people and educators who really go the extra mile to help keep people safe.

We want to celebrate these people and have introduced the Vision Zero South West Road Safety Awards specifically to do so. If you know someone who deserves recognition for the hard work, please nominate them using the form below.

You can nominate your candidate/s for any of the five categories:

1. Community Road Safety Hero – A person or group of people who give up their time to help keep their community safe
2. Outstanding Road Safety Education Award – For those who provide educational road safety interventions which make a real difference
3. Young People in Road Safety Award – This award is for anyone under the age of 18 who has contributed to making roads in Devon & Cornwall safer
4. Emergency Service & Public Sector Road Safety Excellence – A worker who has gone above and beyond to make road safety a priority in their work
5. The Lifetime Achievement Award – A person who has dedicated many years to the cause of road safety

Entries must be received by Monday, November 9th. Winners will be notified shortly afterwards and will receive their awards at a short presentation prior to the Vision Zero South West board meeting on Tuesday, December 8th at Devon & Cornwall Police Headquarters at Middlemoor, Exeter.
